I was 9 years old, mini toy guitar in hand, and went to my grandmas house to show her I can play “Smoke on the Water”. She switched it with her real guitar. She Showed me three chords. Now I could play: Oh Susana, Coming Around the Mountain, and Down in the Valley. I was amazed that those chords could help me play so many songs!

Promptly, I attained an electric guitar. I learned rock techniques, chords, and scales from songs. I just kept experimenting and creating.

Finally, I enrolled in private lessons. My teacher showed me the pentatonic scales across the fretboard, the power chords, and the 12 Bar Blues Progression.

I learned I could use these principles to make unlimited amounts of my own music. THAT WAS THE MOMENT WHEN GUITAR AND MUSIC BECAME WIDE OPEN.

After 15 years it hasn’t slowed down.
